Ultraball is a personal project that I've built from the ground up. Inspired by lighthearted sci fi comedies such as Hitchihker's Guide to the Galaxy and Futurama.
The concept behind this is to create a game for all ages that encourages teamwork and good communication; and discourages hateful speech and anger. This is in the DNA of every decision made for this game from the gameplay, vfx, sound, and environments.
This was not a one man project, I had a handful of talented people help me bring it to where it is now. My role was mainly as Game Designer, Creative Director, Art Director, HR, and CEO. I also did some modeling and animation work and the initial blueprinting.
The most important decisions I made were planning the game to be achievable for a small team, to create variation and personalization without breaking budget. Cutting out useless iterations before they were even made and a lot of imaginative work. Feel free to ask me if you have any specific questions. Thank you!
